APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
RTLINE is applied to a dry, degreased, and clean surface. The surfaces to be bonded should be treated with a special cleaner or, if the surface is sufficiently stable, with acetone. During the open-time period, connect the elements and fix them until the desired functional strength is achieved.
RTLINE, in the presence of moisture and at any temperature within the specified range, is unable to fill gaps larger than 0.1 mm due to its relatively low viscosity.
* Adhesive bonding of aluminum: only chemically treated or painted surfaces; without proper preparation of the surfaces, a strong adhesive bond cannot be achieved.
* Adhesive bonds of materials with different coefficients of thermal expansion, especially when they are subsequently used in areas with changing temperatures, must be further tested for the stability of the adhesive bond over time.
* When bonding silicone and TPE profiles, local testing is necessary due to the diverse properties of the materials.
* It is necessary to follow the instructions provided in the relevant technical manuals.
*The open-time and pressing-time required for the respective working process can only be determined by specific on-site tests, since these time characteristics are highly dependent on the materials to be bonded, the working temperature, the consumption of the adhesive, the humidity of the air, the humidity of the materials, the thickness of the adhesive joint, the pressure of the press, etc. criteria. CLEANING
